yes, yet plenty of advisors pay to be listed on his site.

Funny story that fits well here, tho it wasn’t funny at the time. So for the first two months of the year, I thought I was dying. I had non-stop bloodwork testing for everything imaginable, an ultrasound, referred out to all kinds of specialists; and my dickhead Doctor was referring me around with vague notes on my file for biliary cirrhosis and liver failure (life expectancy 7-16 years). I was caught up in the bullshit system. The rock bottom was spending a night thinking I had hepatitis. Wife was out of town and I’m sweating bullets. “How did I get an STD? She’ll think I cheated. Fuck, she doesn’t seem like the cheating type, but is she?”

So a week before all this hell, I had went to a dermatologist for a routine checkup and he noticed sun spots. They are common in the south and not a big deal. You usually rub selson blue on them and they go away. The dermatologist is literally on webmd looking up what to prescribe. I should have walked. So here’s what had happened. He gave me something orally that should have been given topically. FDA had warned about giving it orally for several years. It was a one dose deal and it was strong and in my system for a month and fucked up all these tests. Nothing was wrong.

Turning 40 and trying to be “proactive” screwed me. A young hot PA for the internist put it together looking at my charts in depth. Scary time and I’ll go back to my usual routine of not seeing doctors because I’m not ever sick

You finally realized it? Congratulations.

As for Rick Fairy, Prettyboy Wank, and Donald Ass-fag, what a shitshow trio. Figures that our industry attracts these 3(Gay) Stooges. Lucky us.
Good luck and good selling.

Can't believe he picked that fight.  WCInvestor is going to sling shit because it is his schtick.  Come out blazin and fuck the truth.

Can't believe he backed down like a little punk.  He should have taken the WC guy to the woodshed, which wouldn't have been that difficult to do.  Instead he ends up looking scared to answer.

I'd say the WCInvestor guy needs to taken to task, but he likely just blocks people.

I really wish I had Twitter.
My posts are for abrasive entertainment only. Nothing posted is investment, legal, tax or any type of advice, nor is anything mentioned true or even based on real events. Posts are complete fiction.

It's an uneven battleground. The advisor wouldn't want to get into a huge public shit fest and invite regulatory scrutiny. Whitecoat doesn't have that worry and thus has the higher ground.

Why don't you create an @TheRealHelado handle on Twitter and jump in on some of those discussions.

I'd get sucked in to way too many pointless debates like that one if I used Twitter more than I do.

This is true. Advisors are at a disadvantage because of regulations. The price we pay for making money, although if you can make yourself popular as a person who just talks shit, then maybe that's better.

What regulatory scrutiny? It not like his state is going to see what he wrote.

LOL. All it would take is one or two competitors to show the state. I'm not saying he did anything wrong in this case, but if it turned into an all out war they could scrutinize the shit out of any claims made.

https://www.wealthmanagement.com/technology/schwabs-plan-kill-forms-and-expand-integrations

In a matter of like a month, the major custodians all eliminated commissions, and now they are going to eliminate paper apps.

This is why startups like Altruist trying to compete with the Big 3 custodians is futile. They have the money and the manpower to crush them overnight.

They literally just counter-punched the two biggest things that Altruist stood for. And they barely sneezed. All the while, Altruist still can't get approvals from the SEC to even BE a custodian.

Tell me again why advisors would risk their entire firm on a startup and leave one of the big custodians?
