   So this is my first post.  I'm pleased to have found this forum after RR tanked it.
Was hired by EDJ in 2007.  I moved to wirehouse recently.  I took their deal--let them buy me out of EDJ, but I ultimately want indy.  I feel this was a necessary step to get me closer to that--start moving clients into fee-based platform--see the business from a different perspective--collect some $--all of these are true.
