Hey, have been lurking around for a while and decided to join and start contributing/learning more about this crazy business we are in.  Have been in banking for about 5-6yrs w/ the 6 and 63 but recently got licensed w/ the 7 and 66.  See you guys around the forums

I started as an FA at EJ and then moved to a bank.
 
Licensed banker to FA is a solid career progression. There are many current and former bank reps on this board that you can learn from.

How do you like it? Any suggestions?  I'm starting out pretty decent but always want more and always willing to listen to advice.

There are positives and negatives like anything else, but I don't think it is as bad as an outsider would say it is. If you can avoid the corporate bull and focus on building a loyal client base it can be rewarding. Whatever your situation make sure at all times you are selling YOURSELF and not the bank.
