The reason why an AAMS is more prestigious than a CFP IS: 1. It’s ACCREDITED, which is better than certified 2. It’s ASSET MANAGEMENT which is more important than financial planning 3. You are a SPECIALIST. With a CFP you aren’t a specialist. 4. It’s issued by the College for Financial Planning so a CFP is for those who can’t achieve the AAMS.
