Still in training at a wirehouse (because apparently I'm some sort of masochist who looks forward to working panic filled 15 hour days trying to meet my monthly hurdles whilst watching some guys spend their time shooting the shit and surfing the web while they wait to inherit daddy's book).

7/66 already in the bag (66 as of this morning); still have about six weeks of company training, insurance licensing, and team ass kissing, etc. before starting production.

MSSB; although it seems like the corporate culture is putting the emphasis on the MS and the SB is silent Wink

Wanted (well needed) the wire salary and they seem to be more actively pursuing career changing professionals than ML or WFA. I talked with a few wire and indy guys about the business first and knew that it's going to be kind of a dance with the devil going in. However I  think my background (previous career in big urban & suburban mixed use land development/construction/engineering projects-including running my own consulting firm, decent existing business network and natural market, and already being "wired in" where I live out in the exhurbs - country club, non-profit fund raising committee member, etc) at least gives me at least a fighting chance to make it thought the first three years and then decide which way to go from there.
